Rollright Trust
Wittenham Clumps (Castle Hill and Round Hill), are among the oldest
Iron age settlements in Britain. Situated along the River Thames between
Abingdon and Wallingford in South Oxfordshire
Milton Keynes Peace Park, Willen Lake. The Peace Pagoda was the first to be
built in Europe. It was built and is still maintained by a group of Monks and
Nuns from the Nipponzan Myohoji Sect living in the nearby Buddhist temple with
its ornate japanese garden. The newest peace symbol at North Willen is the
medicine wheel, situated close to the Temple.
